The newly enhanced C.I.T. Program now has a place for all campers entering 8th grade through the 11th grade. Each year is different and offers many challenges that is sure to develop your potential as a Camp Good News Counselor!
To avoid confusion, please know that applications for CIT are the same as those applying to come to summer camp.

     Enrollment and Supervision
Each level is limited to 7 guys and 7 girls. The ratio of counselor to participant is 1:7. We keep the groups small so the discipleship, training, and bonding of each participant can be more effective. In addition to the counselor, there will be one leadership member responsible for programming

       Interaction
The different levels of the program have their own bible studies, activity and work times. Our camp environment also provides many opportunities for personal growth and bonding. In addition, there will be specific times where the different levels will interact with each other under supervised environments

Level I - 8th grade

Level 2 - 9th & 10th grade

Level 3 -11 grade

This program is designed for you to make a healthy transition from a full-time camper to the life of a counselor. You still get to participate in all of your favorite activities,
but now you can expect extra responsibilities while being mentored by counselors

These two years will be similar to our traditional program with a heavy emphasis on Christian Leadership. This program is crucial in developing our future leaders of camp and equipping you with tools to be a Christian Leader in your school!

This last phase of our C.I.T. program is designed to allow you to put your knowledge into action. You will experience the effectiveness of servant leadership. Get ready to serve!

Junior Counselors.

To be eligible for Junior Counselor positions, you must be entering the 12th grade. Application for J.C. 
Please note that this application is the same as those applying for our summer staff positions
